By now her idea had proven itself worthy to go even further. A good name needed to be established and Fantasy Faces' Airbrush Tan
was not exactly catchy. So in 1997, Starr began calling her proven concept " Fantasy
Tan." As the momentum grew and the word spread, the sunless tanning
industry has since been turned upside-down and others wanted in . Starr started assembling
airbrush tanning systems for professional use. Countless magazines and
endorsements have sung the praises of Fantasy Tan, referring to it as
"The Best Fake Tan Ever" (Harpers Bazaar, June, 2002). Since then,
there have been many attempts to duplicate this breakthrough faux
finish, but nothing replaces the original, the incomparable, Fantasy
Tan.
